It’s tough being a Manchester United supporter these days.
The glory days of Alex Ferguson are long gone, and so too are legends like David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane and Eric Cantona – and before them, Bryan Robson, George Best and Bobby Charlton.
Nowadays, the Red Devils are languishing in 10th position on the Premier League log, having finished second under Jose Mourinho last season.
They’ve just lost to former star Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus side 1-0 in the Champions League at Old Trafford on Tuesday, plunging United and Mourinho into yet another crisis.
But one man is standing by his beloved United – South African hip hop star AKA.
The 30-year-old, whose full name is Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, has posted a picture on social media sporting a brand new Manchester United tattoo on his left shoulder.
Apart from the club badge, AKA also had the three ‘stars’ added, depicting United’s titles in the European Cup or Uefa Champions League in 1968, 1999 and 2008.
“Win or lose ... loyalty is everything.” - Dad. @ManUtd” he tweeted with the picture.
AKA and the rest of the Man United fanbase will be able to watch their team in action again on Sunday evening, when they face Everton at Old Trafford (6pm).
