JOHANNESBURG - Ajax Cape Town striker Prince Nxumalo, a transfer target for Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits, has gone AWOL.

Ajax boss Stanley Menzo confirmed in the press conference after his side lost 1-0 to Kaizer Chiefs at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday that he doesn't know Nxumalo's where-about.

Nxumalo was missing again in Urban Warriors starting line up.  Tashreeq Morris led the striker force for Ajax this past weekend.

"If you asked me honestly, I don't know where is Prince Nxumalo. Prince comes and he stays away for two days and nobody knows where he is. For me I can't work with the player like that. I don't know where he is," Menzo elaborated.

Nxumalo is on the radar of Mamelodi Sundowns and Wits. Sundowns will lose Leonardo Castro, who is on his way to Kaizer Chiefs, and they might also lose Khama Billiat in this transfer window.

"I will see him back when he thinks he wants to come back and that's all," Menzo explained.
