CAPE TOWN – Ajax Cape Town mentor Muhsin Ertugral is willing to change the mindset of missing-in-action marksman Prince Nxumalo.

Nxumalo has been missing from the Ajax camp for a while and Mamelodi Sundowns are keen to land him. His current contract is set to expire in June.

Ertugral who replaced Stanley Menzo before the end of the year wants to sit down with Nxumalo and discuss his future.

“Prince has been missing. We don’t know where he is. I want to sit down with him and discuss the way forward. I want to hear his side of the story. Sometimes it is a problem to hear one side of the story. I want to work with Prince, he is a good striker,” Ertugral explained.

Sundowns recently lost Leonardo Castro and they are set to lose Khama Billiat. Abafana Ba Style are desperate to secure the services of Nxumalo to replace Castro.

The Colombian will be playing his football at Kaizer Chiefs for the rest of this season. Ertugral has already lined up a replacement should Nxumalo leave. He has signed Tendai Ndoro.

“He is brilliant player. He has an eye for goal. It didn’t take long to bring him back. He wanted to come back. He is going to be vital for us and once he gets his rhythm he will score goals for us,” Ertugral elaborated.

The duo worked together at Mpumalanga Black Aces where Ndoro shined before joining Orlando Pirates.

The Urban Warriors are currently 15th in the league.

“My heart has always been with Ajax. Their situation was not looking good and that’s why I took their offer. I wanted to assist them. Ajax is one of the most important teams in the league”.
