If you don’t have a ticket already for tonight’s Absa Premiership clash between Highlands Park and Kaizer Chiefs, don’t go to the Makhulong Stadium.
The Lions of the North have announced on their Twitter account that the match has officially been sold out.
It is expected to be a thrilling encounter, with Owen da Gama’s Highlands team defending an unbeaten record at home this season, while Chiefs haven’t lost in their last six matches and seemed to have found their touch under new coach Giovanni Solinas.
“IMPORTANT NOTICE! @HighlandsP_FC vs @KaizerChiefs Tickets are sold out @Computicket Sold Out!!! Sold Out!!! Sold Out!!! Makhulong Stadium takes 15000 spectators and 13000 safety capacity tickets, and all have been sold out. If don’t have a ticket, don’t come near the stadium!” Highlands Park posted.
But Highlands are coming off a 1-0 defeat to Free State Stars away from home – their first loss of the season.
The ninth-placed team will be keen to claim three points at their ‘slaughter house’ against the high-riding Amakhosi, who are third on the log with 13 points, just one behind leaders Orlando Pirates.
