JOHANNESBURG - Luvuyo Memela is making the most of his moment in the sun - shining bright as if he is making up for the time he spent in the dark, being sent from pillar to post.

The Orlando Pirates’ winger is playing his best football, showing what attracted the club to sign him from NFD side Cape Town All Stars.

Memela was instrumental in Pirates' 3-1 win over Sundowns on Saturday as he ran the Brazilians’ defence ragged and could have finished with more than one goal had he been more clinical.

Jackson Mabokgwane, on the other end, was solid in goal and kept wave after wave of Sundowns’ attacks at bay to help the Buccaneers register their first win against the Tshwane side since 2014.

Mabokgwane is in goal for our Team of the Week with Thulani Hlatshwayo, Philani Zulu, Bongani Khumalo and Bangali Keita making up the defence.

Keita's Free State Stars have been a revelation with Luc Eymael having transformed them from relegation candidates to dark horses in the league title race.

Keita’s teammate, Harris Tchilimbou, also makes an appearance due to the stellar job he did against Cape Town City - which he capped with a goal that took Stars to second place.

Tchilimbou anchors the midfield with Maritzburg's Siphesihle Ndlovu, who won his second successive Man of the Match award for his efforts in the 4-0 smashing of Celtic.

Ajax Cape Town's Fagrie Lakay and Polokwane City's Walter Musona lead the attack.
