DURBAN – Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban or Nelspruit's Mbombela Stadium will host the Telkom Knockout semi-final Soweto Derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

IOL Sport has been reliably informed that the derby is likely to be played at either of the two venues.

Joburg's FNB Stadium is unavailable on the weekend of November 24, when the match is scheduled to be played, according to stadium chief executive Jacques Grobbelaar.

“FNB Stadium is not available on that weekend... but because the final is on the 8th of December we couldn’t move the game to another date,” Grobbelaar said.

The Soweto giants were pitted against each when the draw for the semi-finals was made at Moses Mabhida on Sunday.

Acting PSL chief executive Mato Madlala said they would decide on the venue for the derby this week.
