JOHANNESBURG - Justin Shonga powered Orlando Pirates to a dramatic win over Chippa United to give their Absa Premiership challenge a lifeline and set up a potentially explosive Soweto Derby against their arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs

Pirates almost slipped up against the Chilli Boys, who equalised with seven minutes to go. The Buccaneers showed great character to bounce back and win the match 4-2. Shonga scored two brilliant goals in that victory. The first showed his quick feet and the second was a thunderbolt that showed the Zambian’s class.

Shonga leads our Team of the Week with Percy Tau on the other side of midfield. The Sundowns’ ace scored a crucial goal in the Tshwane Derby . Musa Nyatama and Thabo Nodada complete the midfield.

Lehlohonolo Majoro, who helped Wits end the hoodoo Cape Town City have over the Clever Boys, leads the attack along with Maritzburg’s Andrea Fileccia.

Fileccia inspired the Team of Choice to a late win over relegation-threatened Platinun Stars.

Ronwen Williams brought assurance and stability to Matsatsantsa a Pitori, who have been leaking goals in his absence. Morgan Gould and Daniel Cardoso are the central defensive pair while the Sundowns duo of Thapelo Morena and Tebogo Langerman are the fullbacks.
