Johannesbrug - It’s a potent strike force we’ve picked in our team of the week, with young Percy Tau of Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United’s recent hero Thabo Mnyamane leading the attack.

The two proved to be deadly in front of goal over the past few days - most notably Tau’s brazen approach to the Brazilians’ 5-0 hammering of Highlands Park on Sunday. The 22-year-old was on target as he broke the deadlock for Sundowns in what was an easy afternoon at the office and had been lively for the Tshwane side four days earlier against Golden Arrows, but did not score in that 3-0 victory.

It’s also worth mentioning that Lebogang Manyama makes our team of the week for the umpteenth time as he continues his purple patch leading Cape Town City, who face SuperSport in the Telkom Knockout final. In a starring role yet again on Saturday, Manyama scored one and created two more goals in his side’s 4-1 thumping of Free State Stars.
