French football authorities on Friday imposed a two match away fans ban on Paris Saint-Germain as punishment for vandalism carried out by PSG supporters at the League Cup final.

The French professional football league (LFP)'s disciplinary commission imposed the travelling ban ahead of an April 27 hearing with PSG to discuss trouble at last weekend's final in Lyon.

The LFP has condemned "acts of vandalism by a section of PSG fans" with stadium seats ripped up. Local media reported graffiti daubed on walls, and toilets "destroyed".

The ban covers PSG's Ligue 1 outings at Angers on April 14 and Metz four days later.

PSG, who beat Monaco 4-1 to win the League Cup for the fourth successive season, were also ordered "to pay for all the extensive damaged caused" by their fans.
