Serena maintains big rankings lead

Berlin – Serena Williams remains top of the women's tennis rankings in an unchanged top 10 released Monday by the WTA.

The US player has 9,231 points to stay clear of China's Li Na on 6,960 and Romania's Simona Halep on 6,960.

Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova is fourth while five-time Grand Slam winner Maria Sharapova is sixth.
