DURBAN - There are hidden gems to be found in KwaZulu-Natal, as the province celebrates Tourism Month.

Official celebrations will be held in the Harry Gwala district from September 12 to 14, for groups to explore small towns and the culture that lays within.

Tourism KZN is striving to promote “Tourism and the Digital Transformation”.

Keith Matthews, acting general marketing manager for Tourism KZN, said they launched a KZN Travel Guide app to help tourists navigate the province with ease.

“Using the power of the internet, we are providing the hidden gems of our province with a platform that allows them to shine a light so bright it can reach all four corners of the world.”

“Whether they are looking for beach activities, restaurants, conference facilities and accommodation, the app will assist with all this right under your thumb,” he added.

Travel packages for the province can also be found on the website.
