Ladysmith Black Mambazo will be back in the country next week after netting their fifth Grammy Award for their latest album, Shaka Zulu Revisited.
The internationally acclaimed group will embark on a street parade on Thursday in their home pro- vince of KwaZulu-Natal.
It will start at 10am and finish at 1pm at the Durban City Hall in celebration of their Grammy triumph and for them to connect with fans, the group said in a statement.
The multi-award-winning group are expected to stage a short performance.
They are regarded as a mobile academy of South African cultural heritage through their African indigenous Isicathamiya music. The group, who are celebrating their 58th year in the music industry, dedicated their latest Grammy award to former president Nelson Mandela.
They have partnered with the City of Durban as its tourism ambassadors for three years to promote the city internationally.

This month they will be heading to the UK to perform at Queen Elizabeth’s birthday ceremony in London.
Their performance in London will also kick off their month-long European tour.
Other performances the group has lined up this year are at The Bassline Festival at Constitution Hill, Joburg on Saturday, May 26 and at the Pretoria State Theatre in a concert to honour Nelson Mandela on June 1, 2 and 3.
