Celebrity chef Nti demonstrated once again that whipping out confectionery treats in 10 minutes is a piece of cake.

The food fundi did what she does best at a baking exhibition held at her Taste Kitchen eatery in Joburg’s trendy Maboneng on Thursday.

Chef Nti, aka Nthabiseng Ramaboa, in partnership with Golden Cloud, showcased her 10 best baking techniques to a host of celebrities.

The kitchen featured a refreshing modern blueprint that resembles Maboneng’s now traditional designs, but not everything was so great.

With summer temperatures peaking, being confined to a small space with a stove and an oven with little room to manoeuvre can be uncomfortable.

The chef, bubbly as ever, was as cool as a cucumber as she made baking 10-minute cakes a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.

And those who are naturally in love with the art took over the kitchen and tried their hand at all sorts of flavours and garnishes.

Those who are less adventurous in the kitchen gladly took the back seat and observed in awe.

The celebs who jumped in to be part of the baking team were Tshepi Vundla, model Rosette Ncwana and Trevor Sineke, the musician from the Dream Team group.

Looking all festive and gorgeous in a green number, media personality Penny Lebyane walked around, mingling with the rest.

In the end, cooking or baking provided a perfect setting for a hearty get-together.
