Facebook Mesenger will soon allow u to delete messages
DURBAN - Facebook's messaging app Messenger will soon allow you to delete those "questionable" messages, 10 minutes after you have sent them.
Twitter user, @MattNavarra, first spotted the feature in the coming soon list in the release notes for version 191.0 of Messenger's iOS client.
The delete message feature is much shorter to Facebook's other subsidiary, WhatsApp.
WhatsApp users have an hour to delete a message once it has been sent.

The new feature has been on the cards since April this year when Facebook admitted that they had been deleting messages that their chief executive Mark Zuckerberg had sent.
Messenger was originally developed as Facebook Chat and in 2011 it was released as a standalone app on both iOS and Android.
Messenger will be available on Facebook's newly launched Portal and Portal+. Users will be able to make calls and receive calls from Messenger. It will support up to seven at the same time.
