DURBAN - Google has added a new feature called Subscribe with Google to make subscribing to news publications much easier.

According the Google News Blog, Subscribe with Google is a simple way to subscribe to all news publications and maintain access to websites, apps and search results.

The new Google feature allows a user to buy a subscription using their Google account on participating new sites. The user would then choose the publisher on offer to buy, click subscribe and then you are done.

The user will then automatically be signed in to the site and from there, they can pay securely and privately with any credit card that has been used on Google before.

After that, the user can use Sign In with Google to access the publishers work; the billing is done by Google and the site keeps your payment method safe too. This makes it much easier for the user to manage all their subscriptions in one place.

When users search for a news topic, Google will display them so it will be easy for the user to see.

Some of the publications that will be available through Subscribe with Google include The New York Times and The Washington Post.

European publications like The Financial Times and Le Parisien are also available on Subscribe with Google as publications form the largest mass media group in Latin America, Grupo Globo.

Google News Blog say they will be adding more publications to their subscription service.
