GET your paws up little monsters – Lady Gaga is coming.

Big Concerts was due to make a “big announcement” this morning, but fans have already decided that all signs point to Gaga’s imminent arrival on our shores.

The announcement was expected to take place at 7.30 this morning on 5fm during Gareth Cliff’s breakfast show.

Clues posted on 5fm’s website had fans going gaga.

“Five Grammy awards, 13 MTV awards, 23 million records sold, 64 million singles sold, five top 40 number one hits on 5fm.

“And now: coming to South Africa to perform live in Cape Town and Johannesburg.”

Fans surmised that this could only mean one thing – Gaga’s Born This Way Ball concert tour was adding SA dates to its itinerary .

International website GagaMedia posted an article on Friday headlined “Lady Gaga is set to tour in South Africa”.

It said that the scheduled dates for concerts in Joburg and Cape Town were rumoured to be on November 30 and December 3.

GagaMedia reported that the tickets were expected to go on sale tomorrow.

It said the concerts would take place at Joburg’s FNB Stadium and the Cape Town Stadium.

Social networks have been ablaze with speculation.

One fan pointed out on Big Concerts’s Facebook page that the graphic notifying fans of the “big announcement” was similar in design to that of Gaga’s Born This Way Ball posters.

“Hoping it’s Gaga! What a show that would be,” wrote a fan.

Another said: “Lady Gaga is coming! I can die a happy monster now.”

Gaga, who is currently performing in Australia, has kept mum on the speculation and has not responded to the scores of tweets asking if the rumours were true.

“So, it looks like Lady Gaga is coming to SA,” read one tweet.

Heat Magazine tweeted: “Have you heard little monsters? @ladygaga tour dates for SA will be announced on Monday. Paws up!” – Staff Reporter
