A sensory explosion of food, drinks and celebration.
This was the mood set for journalists and media personalities who attended a secret experiential supper in Sandton on Tuesday night.
Cryptic message-in-a-bottle invitations sent out a fortnight before kept everyone guessing.
On arrival, they were taken to the secret venue in limousines and greeted with lights, cameras and a team of paparazzi for a touch of glamour. Performance piece trio Dear Ribane were the artistic muses for the evening.

Each guest was presented with a set of headphones.
Themed "Taste Changes Everything", The Course - a dining and bar concept - was set at SLOW in the City.
The meeting and events venue is known for its modern and technologically equipped spaces.
The Course is a journey through local ingredients, showcased with global flavour trends. Before the food was served, Taryn Louch took the guests on a listening journey of how the food and drinks were prepared and paired.

The choice of music complemented the evening.
Each dining experience was set to be a transformation from the one before, driven by seasonal food trends.
Diners at The Course will not only have the choice of tapas-style dishes, but can also indulge in a full sit-down menu spanning a selection of dishes and a choice of cocktails.

Evert de Jong, an accomplished mixologist at Molecular Bars, refined the cocktail menu for The Course.
“We have worked with the resident chefs to preparehouse-made ingredients that are fresh and full of flavour.
"This has allowed us to create a signature menu with classic cocktails, and one-of-a-kind specials,” he said.
Mampho Brescia was the music act for the night.
The guest list included Basetsana Kumalo, Johanna Mukoki, Vanessa Carreira-Coutroulis, Unathi Nkayi, Jenna Dover, Terry Pheto and Thembisa Mdoda.
