Mzansi Wethu introduces two reality shows, “Ngishade Wrong” and “Ebukhosini”, which are set to premiere back-to-back on Saturday, October 15.

“Ngishade Wrong”, a show that is sure to get tongues wagging, will air at 8pm followed by “Ebukhosini”, which takes viewers into the traditional court system, at 8.30pm.

“Ngishade Wrong” (I married the wrong person), explores the journey of ending a relationship or marriage to explore a relationship with the person you truly wish to be with.

The show is set to be hosted by Thato Mahapa. On each episode, not only will the person end their current relationship, they will also have the opportunity to declare their love and intentions to their love of their lives.

“Ebukhosini” is a tribal court show with a distinctly South African twist – the show is based on customary law and is centred on settling disputes between community members.

Presided over by Ndabezitha Chief Nsizwa Mahlangu, the Traditional Court scrutinises cases involving customary law. After hearing from both sides – the complainant and the respondent – the chief deliver his verdict, which is binding.

Shirley Adonisi, director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net, said: “Saturday nights are an especially favoured time for viewers to tune in to our shows on Mzansi Wethu, and over the past few months we have grown the line-up with a slew of original shows exclusive to the channel,” said Adonis.

In addition to the hard-hitting newcomers on the slate, it was also revealed that “Mntase” will be returning for a second season on Saturday, October 22.

The host for the second season is actor and presenter Moshe Ndiki.

The reality show, which attempts to mend the broken bonds between warring siblings, resonated strongly with audiences the first time around.
