In the past few weeks, renowned DJ Sithelo Shozi has been among popular names that have been at the centre of discourse in the entertainment space for many jaw-dropping reasons.
The recent disclosure about her cosmetic surgery sent social media into a meltdown, with many throwing criticisms, after candidly sharing her journey of going under the knife.
Shozi revealed that she jetted off to Turkey and had undergone an increasingly popular cosmetic procedure called a Brazilian butt lift and as well as liposuction.
It is popularly known that the Brazilian butt lift procedure gives the patient an hourglass figure that others can only dream about.
Taking to her Instagram account, the mother of three said there is nothing erroneous with one getting a make-over and hopes that people can refrain from passing on the surgery stigma.
“I wish we’d retract the surgery stigma we seem to pass on. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with giving yourself a makeover, it’s each to their own when it comes to such after three children. This was the best decision and best reward I could’ve given myself.” she wrote.
She also explained that before undergoing the procedure, she had a strict diet and eating plan, which involved her attaining a bit of weight.
“After spending the past two months doing some diet planning and endless takeouts, I was finally able to gain enough weight and fat for the procedure I wanted. My hip dips must’ve been my biggest worry and also achieving my desired shape,” said Sithelo.
The music star also revealed in her stories that she would share more of her experience with her fans.
In recent events, Shozi commanded the attention of many people after revealing that she was abused by Andile Mpisane, with whom she shares two children.
According to Shozi, Mpisane, who is now married to Tamia Mpisane, had allegedly abused her in the presence of Mpisane’s friends and family while they were in a relationship together.
Shozi made these allegations on her Instagram account, accompanied by a demonstration of pictures of the physical abuse.
“I’m not one to speak about anything concerning my private life, more especially where my kids are involved, but anyone has a breaking point, and this narrative has gone too far. I've been silent for too long and hid my truth for the sake of peace. But today, I will not be silenced, “ said Shozi.
