In just a few days after renowned musician Samkelo “Something Soweto” Mdolomba dropped his much anticipated single “Amagents” the song is sitting on 1 million views on YouTube.

The song, which is about a father’s message to his daughter, received a lot support and love, and instantly climbed music charts.

Something Soweto turned to his social platforms to expressed gratitude about the quick success it has amassed.

On the day of the release, fans and celebrities across social platforms applauded him for being one of the best vocal artists in Mzansi.

The talented artist took to Twitter to express his gratitude.

“Number 1 song on Apple Music across all genres. Thank you so much for the overwhelming love and support you have all shown me by listening to the song,” he shared.

This song marks a strong return after people were concerned about his health when a picture of him looking slimmer than usual appeared on social media.

The award-winning musician assured his fans and followers he was in good spirits, he just made a change in his lifestyle.

He spoke frankly on a video, saying he was also going through a lot.

“I just wanted to address the recent thing that is happening, where people are talking about my weight and stuff. You are not wrong, I am going through a lot. I just wanted to thank everyone who sent their prayers. Those who sent their loving messages and support, I really appreciate it.”

He added that he is not dying or sick.

“I am not dying. I am not sick. Angiguli, I just changed my lifestyle. There are things that I do not do anymore. There are things that I do not eat anymore. There are things that I do every day, like physical activities.”

With all the changes he has made, Mdolomba said it is to be expected that transformation will also happen physically.
