'The Real Housewives of Lagos’ turn heads in SA

It is without a doubt that viewers globally have shown a deep affinity for reality shows and with many being produced they are in for a nice treat.

The big announcement that The Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOLagos) are coming on to screens soon left social media brimming with excitement.

The show is expected to be serving up all the high fashion, luxury, drama and power moves for which the franchise is known.

The reality show is now streaming on Showmax, after their big and glamorous launch in Johannesburg.

Having the launch in the City of Gold commanded more attention from the viewers as SA's biggest stars were also expected to show up in their finest.

With media personality Bonang Matheba on the reigns as a host the event drew more interest.

It was just little glimpse into the beautiful event and it started shooting top on trends.

The minute the wives landed on South African soil, people knew their presence would turn heads.

It is widely known that in the world of fashion Nigerian women make a statement and leave people talking all night long.

Head of content at Showmax, Candice Fangueiro said they knew that reality show would be loved in other countries as well.

The latest edition of the hit reality TV show franchise follows the majestic lives of six of the most beautiful women in Africa’s largest megacity: businesswoman Carolyna Hutchings, lawyer and luxury hair brand owner Chioma Ikokwu, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, influencer Laura Ikeji-Kanu, PR expert Mariam Timmer and celebrity stylist Toyin Lawani-Adebayo.

In true Lagos style, they pulled out all the stops to have their presence felt on the pink carpet along with SA notables who also presented their stunning looks impressively.
