South African millionaire Vivian Mokome will be jetting off to the USA to represent Africa in a Network Marketers convention.

The convention will take place in Dallas at the beginning of June.

The world's top business people and esteemed network marketers are expected to be part of the gathering.

Mokome told The Star that she was honoured to represent South Africa and share her experiences as a seller.

The 39 year old made her first million before the age of 35 selling products from the back of a car. She is a PhD candidate at Wits University and holds a Masters degree in Information Sciences.

"I have been nominated to go and share my story. I was the first one to be called and I am being called for the second time to share my experience and will be training the upcoming network marketers," Mokome said.

Mokome has recently launched a campaign that encourages oral care, the campaign has attracted many sellers and is said to be a success. She said selling something as simple as toothpaste can pay for a holiday trip overseas.

Mokome said she hoped to tell the world about the talent that South Africans have and the courage that some mothers in Africa display by sending their children to University through money made by selling small products.

"My life changed when I embraced the concept of selling. My message will be simple a black child can come out of any situation and you start with an affordable capital," Mokome said.

Mokome encouraged young people to take up the skill of selling and make it part of their lives.

She said university was not the only way out of poverty.

"We cannot only rely on formal education. I left my job to come and sell. It was a risk but we need to start thinking outside of the box. Network marketing gives us an opportunity to be who we want to be," Mokome said.

She said her success was due to a great partnership that she has had with a Chinese company, LongRich BioScience International.

The company supplies cosmetics, electronics and other essential products. It is one of the biggest
