While some people believed Uncle Waffles is just a one-hit wonder, she continues to remind many why they fell in love with her artistry by doing more with every opportunity granted to her.

If there's any language the 22-year-old understands, it is to deliver unfailingly and, with amapiano taking the world by storm, she has to solidify her name as well.

Her music, style and fiery energy have always been something that commanded everyone’s attention in the entertainment industry.

Uncle Waffles, whose real name is Lungelihle Zwane, has released the first video for her popular smash hit Tanzania months after it has been booming on all music streaming platforms.

Sharing with her fans on social media Uncle Waffles said: “ My very first video is out today, Tanzania music video with @tonyduardo, @real_boibizza and @sinomsolo. Can't begin to explain how excited I am. Thank you to every person who helped me bring this to life.”

“And we are live. Being a creative has been such a vulnerable thing but I am truly grateful to put out work. My first baby is officially out.”

Tanzania featuring Tony Duardo and Sino Msolo, which dropped in March, has already surpassed 5 million views on YouTube.

When Uncle Waffles came to onto the entertainment scene she brought vibrancy with her, and as result her name did not miss the trends.

In a short period of time she garnered plenty of followers and instantly became a big star recognised, not only in South Africa, but in other countries as well.

She recently announced she bagged a residency at BBC Radio 1 in the UK, leaving her fans brimming with pride.

She shared on her social platforms: "Every Thursday night at 11 pm UK time and at midnight SA time, I will be your host on BBC Radio 1's residency."

Tanzania has been one of the local tracks claiming charts and has also remained steady among the top amapiano tracks.

In July, The Star reported on Spotify charts where the song has been doing incredibly well.

Tanzania has proved a fan favourite placing itself among the most listened-to tracks on Spotify.
