SUPERSTAR Rajinikanth telephoned filmmaker Selvaraghavan, the elder brother of his son-in-law Dhanush, from Singapore and wished him a happy married life.
“Rajini expressed his inability to attend the marriage as he is on rest on the advice of doctors. He spoke to both Selva and his wife Geetanjali and conveyed his heartfelt wishes to them,” said a source.
Selva married Geetanjali, his former associate, in Chennai recently.
The couple hosted a grand reception, which was attended by leading personalities from Tamil cinema and Tamil Nadu politics.
“Geeta will look after Selva's professional and personal interests post marriage,” added the sources.
While Selva is the elder son of director Kasthuriraja, Geetanjali is the daughter of PS Raman, a former advocate general of Tamil Nadu.
