Johannesburg - It’s been a tough journey, but South Africa has a new Idol!
Musa Sukwene, 26, from eMalahleni beat fellow finalist Brenden Ledwaba, 19, of Graskop in the showdown of Idols SA Season 9.
The final voting round was tight, with the top two receiving a record number of votes. Early favourite Ledwaba narrowly missed the crown.
The live finale was broadcast on M-Net (DStv channel 101) and Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) on Tuesday night. - IOL
The audition dates for Season 10 were announced after Tuesday night’s show.
