Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic. Here are some of the city’s interesting facts. 

Beer

Czech Republic people drink more beer on average than anywhere else in the world. According to locals it is often the most cheapest item on a menu at bars and restaurants. So when visiting, celebrate your travels with a beer.

People in Prague love to party. The city is known for its nightlife. There are many bars, pubs and nightclubs in the town, making it perfect for young and old.

Graffiti wall

Even though John Lennon did not visit Prague, there is a graffiti wall dedicated to him.  This tribute to revolution began after John Lennon’s death in 1980. The unofficially named “John Lennon Wall” is near the Charles Bridge. Its an ideal spot for John Lennon fans.

The clock on the Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord is the largest in Central Europe. At a diameter of 7.6 meters, it was designed by Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik and built between 1928 and 1932.

Dancing House, a popular spot in Prague, designed by Frank Gehry and Vlado Milunic, was inspired in dancers Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The hotel is now home to a bar, hotel and gallery. Its the perfect place to take those absurd selfies.

No visit to Prague is complete without taking a walk on Charles Bridge. The bridge is filled with history and some mysterious and dark activity. Do not worry, it's safe to visit.
