As one of Asia’s smallest and cleanest cities in the world, Singapore is a metropolitan filled with amusements parks, night safaris, tantalising cocktails, and a glittering nightlife.

“Whether you are taking in the sights and sounds on the Singapore Flyer or wining and dining on a night cruise, Thai Airways will get you there in one quick easy flight,” says Thamanoon Kuprasert, general manager of Central, Eastern and Southern Africa for Thai Airways International (THAI).

Take in the bright city lights on the Singapore Flyer, opened in 2008 and is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Asia. The flyer (Ferris wheel) holds 28 people at a time and lasts for 30 minutes.

Alternatively, tourists can relax in style and comfort, while getting a panoramic view of Marina Bay, Sands Integrated Resort, Boat Quay, and Clark Quay. Saving the best for last is the Floating Stadium, known as the world’s largest floating platform performance stage on water.

The Floating Stadium is located in Marina Bay and was built in 2007. This stadium is the venue for all the major sporting and cultural events, which include sports, concerts, exhibitions and arts and culture performances. This striking piece of architecture is most famous for hosting the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix.

If you are fun loving and get a thrill from danger and excitement, then head on over to Universal Studios. This amusement park has seven different themed zones, which makes you feel like you are walking down the streets in New York and Hollywood, getting lost in the jungle of Madagascar, or seeing the pyramids in Ancient Egypt.

Tourists can look forward to screaming on one of the fastest and highest rollercoaster’s or getting soaked at the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure.

Get your torches ready and book a trip on the night safari, which is the one and only wild life park in Singapore and home to 130 different animal species. Visitors need to take the tram and walk the trails to see the most exciting and dangerous animals.

Visitors can also watch a thrilling and entertaining show called “Creatures of the Night”. Try get there early and you will witness a Bornean Tribal Dance.

When the sun goes down, tourists should put on their dancing shoes and go to Zouk, which is one of the most popular night clubs in Singapore.

“Finish the night off with a Singapore Sling, a famous blend that originated in Singapore and is a mixture of different flavours whipped into one tantalising cocktail,” concludes Kuprasert.
