Graeme Edmond appointed TAA divisional sales and marketing executive

Integrated tourism group Tourvest’s Accommodation and Activities division recently announced that Graeme Edmond has been appointed divisional sales and marketing executive effective from tomorrow.

Tourvest Accommodation and Activities comprises various African tourism activity operators Wild Horizons and Mankwe-Gametrackers, the Lemala camps in Tanzania and Uganda, the Adrift Nile-rafting company in Uganda, Drifters Overland Tours and aha Hotels and Lodges.

Edmond's previous role was to oversee the sales and marketing function at aha Hotels and Lodges. With this appointment, his responsibilities will extend to all the business entities within the division. 

Gary Elmes, divisional chief executive, says this is a natural progression for Edmond, who has been at aha more than ten years, and is now in a position to apply his considerable knowledge and expertise on the marketing and sales front across the division’s entire portfolio.

Elmes concludes,  “I’d like to congratulate Graeme on his well deserved promotion and wish him all the best with his increased responsibilities which, knowing Graeme, he’ll tackle with relish and determination.”
