KwaZulu-Natal will have a new shopping and entertainment offering in the form of the Cornubia Mall.

Expected to open on September 28, the much anticipated mall is easily accessible from the N2 Highway, the M41 and Cornubia Boulevard.

This 65,000-square metre mall offers a good selection of food, fashion, lifestyle and sports attractions.

Danni Dixon, the group marketing director for Investec Property, said the mall has everything for shoppers. With jewellers, salons, a health store, perfumery, tobacconist, optometrists, pet stores, furniture outlets, banks, restaurants and a gym,, it will be a one-stop shop for everyone.

“We want people to come and enjoy the mall and its facilities. Even if you just visiting to stock up on bread and milk, there will always be something to keep you entertained. There is so much to do and many firsts for KwaZulu-Natal. It caters for the adventure seeker, the shopaholic and for the children,” she said.

Here are some of my picks:

Bounce Trampoline Park: Need I say more? Plus it's good fun for young and old.

2000m² Cycle Lab megastore: Dubbed the biggest store in their franchise, the Cycle Lab is ideal for cycle fun and there is enough space for everyone.

A 70km mountain bike trail: Adventure seekers would love the 70km mountain bike trail, a really unusual but fascinating concept. It starts and ends at the mall and meanders through the surrounding greater Cornubia green belt.

There is something for soccer fans: Fives Futbol offers three outdoor 5-a-side soccer pitches ideal to keep the guy busy while their partners are shopping.

7-screen 4Dx Nu Metro cinema: A mall without a cinema is not a mall. This will be a great addition.
