Legends of R&B – Brian McKnight & Brandy
There’s no doubt that Brian McKnight and Brandy are “legends of R&B”. Brian McKnight has released 18 albums, many of which went platinum, totally over 30 albums sold worldwide.
Although he’s an “old-school” artist, his impact on pop and youth culture was evident when the trendy rapper and producer, Travis Scott, gave a nod to McKnight by naming his album Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight.
Brandy on the other hand is ranked one of the best-selling female artists in American music history by the RIAA, having sold over 11 million albums in the United States and 40 million worldwide, won three Billboard Awards, four MTV Awards, six Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards and three BMI Awards.
