Johannesburg - Sparkling Waters Hotel and Spa (incorporating the Magaliesberg Canopy Tours) is a household name synonymous with “value for money” family holidays, weekend breaks and conferences, without compromising luxury.

The Sparkling Health Spa won the 2015 “Luxury Spas of the World” award in the Destination Spa category and was runner up in the same programme for 2013 and 2014.

Situated in the heart of the Magaliesberg Mountains, halfway between Hartbeespoort and Rustenburg, the hotel has 56 rooms spread out in clusters of three and four, over 4.5 hectares of the 45-hectare property.

There are more than 16 on-site sport, recreation and outdoor activities including mini golf, outdoor action cricket, trampoline, heated kiddies pool, cold pool, tennis courts, volleyball, crossbow and crossbow pistol shooting, catapult and air-rifle target shooting, guided hikes, mountain bikes and a games room.

Children are specially catered for with their own dining area, bigscreen movies, marshmallow BBQs and supervised entertainment over weekends and school holidays. There is also a special “Babes and Dudes” salon for the under-12s.

The Spa is located in a 750m2 thatched pavilion in the gardens, overlooking the wooded area next to the Krom River. The spa comprises an indoor heated pool, gym, steam bath, tropical jacuzzi garden, tented gazebo, two-tier sun deck, hydro treatment rooms with qualified therapists and more than 45 treatments on offer.

It is Gauteng’s favourite mountain getaway that’s within easy reach.
