Travellers to Durban should take a drive down to the South Coast this month. There are many events planned to cater for the whole family.
Ugu South Coast Tourism released a list of events that will take place this month. Some of the events include the Margate Challenge Bowls at the Margate Country Club from April 5-7, the Moonlight Night Market at Scottburgh Country Club on April 6 and the Munster Motor Museum Market and Colour Adventure Trail Run/Walk at Rocky Bay Trails on April 7.
There are also a series of activities to entice those who love sport. If fishing is your passion, the Shelly Beach Inter-Club Fishing on April 7 to 8 is something you should do. The Wild Coast Sun Drift on April 14 and the Margate Kennel Club Open Show on 16 April is highly recommended.
The biggest annual event, however, on the KZN South Coast calendar is the upcoming South Coast Bike Fest. The event, which is considered as Africa's premier motorcycle enthusiast and music festival, will take place on April 27-30. The South Coast Bike Fest has established itself as a favourite among families who enjoy music, entertainment, food, stunt shows and exhibitions.
