WOWZULU, in conjunction with Ugu South Coast Tourism, has relaunched the Wild2SouthCoast Walk as the Wild-South Coast Walk.

The 3-4 day guided walk has more cultural, heritage and natural points of interest, starting in Ramsgate on the South Coast and ends on the Wild Coast in Eastern Cape.

This authentic rural and coastal hiking experience includes village experiences, 3 spectacular river gorges, ancient fossil beds and shipwrecks along pristine beaches, striking red dunes and walks across high green hills above the sea, dotted with homesteads. It gives you a fascinating insight into the rich Zulu and Mpondo cultures of the local communities.

The 4-day walk starts at Ramsgate’s famous Waffle House and Whale View Deck. The 3-day hike starts at the top of Umtamvuna River Gorge. The gorge has rich biodiversity which includes 1 400 flowering plant species and 259 bird species.
