The new First Class Amenity Kit for Lufthansa , which will be on board from the end of May, recently won first place at the On-board Hospitality Award 2018.
Around 1,000 readers of the renowned British trade magazine took part in the survey and helped Lufthansa win the coveted award in the category "Best for First". Among the criteria chosen were people’s first impression, quality, durability, weight, usefulness, design, functionality, taste, content and enrichment of customer experience.
The ladies' model of the Windsor Amenity Kit can be described as modern and elegant. The bag offers space for cosmetics and accessories – with a detachable carrying strap, and can be used as a handbag or as a clutch.
The men's model is classic and functional. It impresses with a modern, straightforward design and can also be used as an everyday item as a sponge bag or as a practical organiser.
The contents of the First Class Kits include exclusive care products from the La Prairie Skin Care brand.
The Reisenthel Amenity Kits for Business Class also appeared among the finalists at the Onboard Hospitality Awards.
These bags will be offered from July in three different variants in the new Lufthansa design. It will be equipped with cosmetic products from L'Occitane. Here, too, the idea of sustainability was at the forefront of product development as these bags can be reused as a shopping bag, pencil case or cosmetic bag.
The same environmental awareness is at the forefront of the Lufthansa Premium Economy kits.
From mid-July, new "Around the World" Amenity Kits will be available, these kits will be ideal for reuse as shopping or beach bags and thus contribute to a reduction in plastic waste.
With five different motifs (Eiffel Tower, Brandenburg Gate, Frankfurt Skyline, Statue of Liberty and Golden Gate Bridge) they are also suitable as collector’s items.
