FlySafair has again walked away with the year-to-date top spot for punctuality, according to ACSA’s newly published results for October 2018.

On average, an impressive 93.7% of FlySafair’s flights depart within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure times, putting the airline in top position at OR Tambo, King Shaka and Cape Town International Airports.

FlySafair, has been named the most punctual airline in the world for two consecutive IATA seasons by OAG, an international aviation data company. Their impeccable on-time record, together with its affordable fares, has been a major driver of growth for the airline. In November they will operate 1882 flights and December has over 2008 flights scheduled.

“We’re extremely excited about this growth which is more than 40% up on last year,” said Head of Sales and Distribution at FlySafair, Kirby Gordon. He said the airline will be adding an additional three Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its existing fleet of 14 aircraft next year.

“There’s no doubt that having control of our own world-class maintenance is fundamental to our on-time achievement, which in turn is key to our overall growth and success,” added Gordon.
