The early payment discount comes into effect on the launch of Insight's new season which is usually in September of every year. Not only can travellers earn great upfront savings, the early payment discount can be combined with other savings and discounts. The current discount is 7.5 percent and is valid until 31 March. So the earlier travellers book the more they can save.
“We reward our frequent travellers with additional savings. If they have travelled on an Insight tour or with one of our sister brands in the last five years we'll take five percent off the land portion of their holiday,” says Pieter, “and if our travellers get a bunch of friends together for a small group tour we can save them another five percent off their holiday.”
The fourth way to save on an escorted tour to one of Insight Vacations wonderful destinations is to travel in celebration of a special milestone.
Major anniversaries, landmark birthdays and other milestone life events are best commemorated on a trip with Insight in the company of close friends. By booking a party of five or more guests Insight will take five percent off the cost of everybody's trip and throw in a cake, card and bottle of sparkling wine to help celebrate.
Small groups and Milestone discounts are not combinable.
The final way to save is perhaps the most important. “With our currency devaluing on an almost constant basis it's comforting to know that Insight Vacations does not impose a currency surcharge on their tours.
“Once a deposit is paid on the holiday of choice the land priced is guaranteed and any subsequent currency fluctuations are at Insight Vacations expense,” concludes Beyers.
