Miami - The new Legoland Hotel is holiday accommodation kids dream of. It has 152 rooms, inspired by popular Lego lines, designed with a family-friendly stay in mind.

The Lego theme extends to the outdoor spaces, complete with an eye-catching swimming pool and brightly-hued interactive play areas.

As part of an overnight stay, families get early admission to the resort as well as an exclusive master model builder session to help hone their skills. A treasure hunt can also be found in every room – with prizes to be won – and there are nightly Lego competitions.

Full buffet breakfast at the restaurant is included, as well as nightly entertainment and access to the hotel’s heated pool, with floating Lego bricks.

The most difficult part of your adventure will be which Lego-themed room to choose: Pirate, Kingdom, Adventure or Lego Friends. All rooms have two separate sleeping areas, one with a king-sized bed and the other with bunk beds and a pull-out bed, which sleeps up to three children.

 

In addition to the new hotel, the resort has more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, and a separate water park.

Just 45 minutes from Orlando, the resort is set on the shores of Lake Eloise in Winter Haven and has 11 zones. with everything from pink-knuckle roller coasters to an Imagination Zone and a Lego City, where kids can use boats and drive Lego cars.

Room rates are as low as R2 500 a night for a family room, excluding park tickets. Try the combo pack for both Legoland Florida and the water park: R900 per adult, R800 for a child aged three to 12 and just R55 for a child up to two.
