Johannesburg - The Swaziland-based Inyatsi Construction Group, which is looking to list on the JSE in the near future, has been awarded three contracts worth more than R953.5 million.

The contract awards follow the group’s announcement in March that it had been awarded two infrastructure contracts in Zambia and a third in Swaziland worth a total of more than R1.4 billion.

Inyatsi Construction said last week that it had been awarded a contract on tender worth R874.5m for the construction of the Manzini to Mbadlana Road in Swaziland, while Construction Associates – a subsidiary of Inyatsi Construction – was awarded a R27m contract on tender for the construction of an operating theatre suite and new maternity ward at Mkhuzweni Health Centre in Hhohho, Swaziland.

The local branch of Inyatsi Construction was awarded a R52m contract on tender to do preventative maintenance and rehabilitation of the N1 between Bandolierkop and Vleifontein in the Vhember district of Limpopo for the Roads Agency Limpopo.
