What are RSS Feeds? How do I get RSS feeds?

In a world groaning under the burden of information overload, RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) is a simple way to filter and customise content that interests only you, without having to always go back and visit sites.
IOL's RSS feed is free content from your favourite IOL websites to your desktop. Our feed contains headlines, a summary or teaser paragraph, and a link to the article on the website.
So, instead of visiting a particular website to browse for new articles and features, you can check the RSS feed to see whether something new has been posted online.
Well, first you need an RSS Reader (they are free, search for "RSS Reader" in Google). Once you have downloaded and installed your preferred Reader, copy and paste the URL link from the URL bar of your browser (typically something like http://www.iol.co.za/rss, to the Add Feeds section of your favourite RSS Reader.
You are also welcome to use our RSS feeds to display our content on your website, but only if your website is not used for commercial purposes. For commercial use of our RSS feeds, please contact us. See our Terms and Conditions for more details.
