QS World MBA Tour in Sandton
The QS World MBA Tour, described as the world’s largest series of recruitment and information fairs for business school applicants is returning to Johannesburg for its eighth consecutive year. It will take place at the Sandton Sun Hotel on Monday 7 May 2012 from 4-8pm.
The fair provides prospective MBA candidates with the opportunity to experience free expert seminars and obtain all the information they need in one venue. This includes full-time, part-time and distance learning MBA programmes, fees, admissions, scholarships, financial aid and graduate MBA career opportunities.
Also included is information on GMAT, the mandatory test for the majority of MBA programs. This is a computer-adaptive exam that assesses verbal, quantitative and analytical writing skills. Integrated reasoning will be added in June 2012, so candidates should prepare for the current test before it changes.
This year, the fair offers:
· US $1.2 million exclusive scholarships available for attendees from the 90 workshops presented across the world
· Workshops designed to help improve Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores
· Admissions strategy workshops
· Careers panel with MBA recruiters and alumni
· MBA Masterclass from top professors
