Kenya's economy grew 3.6 percent in the third quarter, the slowest pace of growth since the end of 2009, while the balance of payments swung to a 14.5 billion shilling ($174 million) deficit, data showed on Wednesday.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, the economy grew 0.7 percent in the third quarter from the previous three months, after a 0.1 percent expansion in the second quarter. The second quarter had previously been given as a 4.6 percent contraction. - Reuters
