Conditions in Khayelitsha informal settlement

The Cape Times spoke to Khayelitsha residents in BM Section who took part in recent protests and who said they had legitimate grievances over the conditions in which they are forced to live.
Most shacks visited were drenched.
Residents complaints ranged from housing, broken communal toilets and having to use bucket toilets to no electricity, but their main concern at the moment was flooding.
