It is the end of the road for suspended national Police Commissioner Bheki Cele after a board of inquiry recommended that he be fired from his position.
Discussions were immediately under way last night to get a suitable candidate to replace him after the board found he was not fit to hold the office of commissioner. Sources, who did not want to be identified, indicated that Nathi Nhleko, who is a director at the department of labour, was a favoured candidate.
