ARCHBISHOP Emeritus Desmond Tutu’s Milnerton home has been burgled for a second time in three months - the latest incident was on the same day Nelson Mandela’s official memorial service was held in Johannesburg.

Police spokesman Tembinkosi Kinana without naming Tutu, confirmed the burglary happened between 7pm and 9pm on Tuesday.

“At this stage we cannot give further details, as the investigation into the matter is still ongoing. No arrests have been made as yet,” he said.

In the previous incident on August 7, the house had been burgled and small items had been taken while Tutu and his wife Leah, slept.
