Ironman race tips
Training for the 2013 Spec-Savers Ironman race? An informative workshop is will be held on Monday, February 25 at the Sports Science Institute in Newlands. Registration is at 5.30pm. The workshop’s focus is psychological, nutritional and training/ technical strategies. Speakers include Richard Woolrich (biokineticist with the Sports Science High Performance Centre and All Africa Triathlon Champion in 2002), Dr Ross Tucker (consultant scientist and scientific editor of Runner’s World Magazine) and dietitians and psychologists.
