Grade 2-4 Addington Primary pupils gathered on their school’s sports field earlier this week to mark the school’s 120th anniversary. The school, which counts 1 540 Grade R to Grade 7 pupils, was originally situated on Broad Street (now Dr Yusuf Dadoo) in the Durban CBD, before moving first to the site of the Children’s Hospital, and finally to its present location, behind uShaka Marine World.
To celebrate the anniversary, a programme of events has been planned for past and present pupils and staff.
