Mark Ruffalo has joined the Donald Trump protest.

The 48-year-old actor has taken to the streets of New York to take part in the public demonstration against the new American President alongside a number of disgruntled people following the US presidential election on Wednesday, which saw the Republican take victory over the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

The star has shared a clip of himself surrounded by hoards of protestors outside Trump Tower in New York on his Instagram account.
