Today is the 6th annual Slipper Day.

Slipper Day is an initiative to give children the opportunity to create lifetime memories through making their unique dreams come to life.

Wimpy, Pick ‘n Pay and Reach for a Dream have teamed up to make this day a fun and beneficial one for children.

In order to participate, you just have to buy a Slipper Day sticker and wear your cool slippers.

Here are some of our local celebs who participated in Slipper Day.

The three time South African Rugby Player of the year participated in #SlipperDay and shared pics of him in his cute bunny slippers.

4. Fleshyground The Afro-fusion band also shared a cool photo of them in emoji slippers. 3. Kelebogile Mabotja Radio host, KelebogileM was joined in studio by the Reach for a dream team and they too shared a cool snap. 2.Anele Mdoda TV show host, Anele Mdodo also participated on #SlipperDay2017 1.DJ Fresh It would have been so disappointing if DJ Fresh let this day slip without participating because he likes these kind of things and yes, he too shared a picture of him and Jessica Nkosi in their cool slippers.
