Former Backstage super star Lorcia Cooper made a come back on the small screen on Mzansi Magic’s new prison drama Lock Down which debuted on Monday night.

Cooper plays the role of Tyson, a tough prison boxing champion who is very temperamental, treacherous and wants to rule her fellow inmates with an iron fist.

Cooper plays alongside Uzalo’s Dawn Thandeka King, Z’bondiwe’s star Zola Nombona and former Generations star Slindile Nondangala.

Her return was received with a warm welcome, with fans and colleagues congratulating her on social media.
