Tributes pour in for celebrity stylist and make up artist Iko Mash. Actor and LGBTQI activist reportedly passed away this morning after a battle with cancer.
Iko Mash, whose real name is Billy Mothola Emmanuel Mashiloane started cross dressing at a young age.
He starred in television shows such as Zabalaza, Tshesa, Gazlam, and Rhythm City.
Former Muvhango actress Florence Mabe remembers her friend and makeup extraordinaire, she tweeted:
"Iko Mash. A darling, a star and one of the best makeup artists to ever touch my face. Above all this, a very true friend. 💔💔💔 #RIPIkoMash
Iko Mash has passed on
Ayanda Mbuli also send her condolences to Iko Mash’s family.
"Iko styled me for a number of photo shoots and did my makeup over the years. I loved Iko's spirit," she wrote
